Grits

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • Bring water, butter and salt to boil.
  • Add grits, return mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
  • Cook 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot.

Options:

  • Add a container of your favorite vegan cream cheese.
  • Crumble your favorite vegan bacon on top.
  • Mix in your favorite vegan sausage.
