Ingredients:
- 1 cup grits
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Bring water, butter and salt to boil.
- Add grits, return mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
- Cook 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.
Options:
- Add a container of your favorite vegan cream cheese.
- Crumble your favorite vegan bacon on top.
- Mix in your favorite vegan sausage.
